Sponsored Review

What is a Sponsored Review?
A Sponsored Review is an article you write for an advertiser. You review their products and services and then post the review on your blog. Each advertiser has his or her own requirements (i.e. word count, links, etc.).
You write the review in your own tone. Constructive criticism is encouraged, but rude or hateful reviews will be declined.
How you disclose that the review is sponsored is up to you; however, you must follow each advertisers requirements. Some advertisers may ask for you to include one of our disclosure badges while others may ask that you only use a site-wide disclosures. If you do not agree with what the advertiser is requiring for disclosure, simply reject the job or do not bid on the opportunity. Regardless of what an advertiser requests we always fully support site-wide disclosures.

Sponsored Review is one of my fave paid to post site. I might say it was the first site I got opps and highest payer so far.

Pros

1. It pays twice a month – every mid and end of the month thru paypal, but you have to set your payment details to automatic, otherwise it will just accumulate to your acct.

2. It automatically approves or rejects your post – that way I can correct my post immediately if ever it was rejected.

3. Fast CS support – I run into some problem at start and didn’t got paid for two opps but we later learnt that I didn’t properly submitted the url of those post and I waited 5 days before complaining therefore they cannot do anything. I was pissed but it was my fault anyway, still I got my answer in a flash.

Cons

1. The opps are not regular – I got 9 opps last February but come March I got only 2!

2. Find advertiser option is not really working – I tried to bid for those open ads but never got approved.

Of course, they have some procedure on how to distribute those ads in place. And it would be greedy of me just to wish it all by myself.

But still I hope to I get more opps this April. AJA!

Paid Posting

I started with these paid posting thing only last February. Of course, I registered before to a couple of sites but I guess my blogs are not yet statistically recognized that’s why I didn’t get any opps. Another thing to note is I got my own domain by mid December and started to advertise at that time too. By Feb, my main blog It’s Not Always About ME is ranked less than 200k in Alexa and PR 3 with Google. That I believe makes my blog appealing to some advertisers.

It wasn’t easy I tell you, I advertise (Adgitize, Entrecard), joined forums (TalkPh, Pay Manila, GirlTalk), sponsored and joined contests, bloghop, exchange links and banners, etc. But it’s all worth it.

So I guess it was a give and take scenario – I advertise and they advertise thru paid posts on my blog.

Some of the advertisers didn’t want the post to be labeled as paid post so if you see those anchor texts on my post, you already have the idea ;) .

My other blog Drama Queen do get some opps too but very few in between. It is still a free domain and hosted at blogger. But I don’t have any plans to transfer it as of press time (I might change my mind later, who knows?)

2009 June-Dec Online Earnings

Since I just started this blog recently, I still want to share my 2009 online earnings and expenses.

Neobux $     2.24
Adventures4U $     2.00
Google Adsense $   85.00

Not bad for a starter/ newbie.

Trek Pay

I haven’t really given up PTC sites. I still have this one, though it took me almost 3 months to reach the $5.5 pay-out but it’s working out fine for me.

Payment Proof,Trek Pay

Trek Pay gives 8 ads or more per day, and if you’re really diligent check their site twice a day and to get more ads. And I do enjoy clicking their ads because I find some interesting sites/ blogs featured there. One of my fave is Tututina’s where I got to learn quite a lot about blogs, etc.

But unlike other PTC sites, they do not offer a fixed rate per ad, so I just earn credits for clicking an ad and by Wed or Thurs it is converted to cash. It is like a profit sharing thing, where those credits are converted depending on the actual profit of the site and then divided to the total credits due, something like that (I guess).

I’m working on my 2nd pay-out from Trek Pay, maybe 2 to 3 weeks from now.

If you’re interest register HERE.

IM Report Card

I soo love this site!

Because I earned a total $170 here for my 3 months stint, the highest ever from my online rackets (so far).

Well, as usual I’ve reached a plateau and got bored. Or I guess I already commented on almost all the sites I am familiar with.

What we do here, is to comment, grade and rate internet marketing sites. There is a point system and once you accumulate 2,000 credits it can be cashed-out for $20. Another good point here is that all credits of your referred member is credited to you as well (except for bonus points). So you can still earn while doing nothing. I only had one active referral but still I earned $100 or more from her!

Unfortunately, IMRC did not accept members from some countries like the Philippines and just recently it ceased to pay in cash. They said that those accumulated credits can be converted to some services or programs.

Some good things never last.

I’m still grateful that I was able to earn from IMRC and learn at the same time.

Neobux

My first PTC (pay to click) site and one of the most trusted, because it really pays and has been there for quite a while.

Though I’m not much of a fan, or any PTC site for that matter (if it’s any consolation).

Of course I have reasons, first I am too lazy (to click) and second I lack patience (to wait for my earnings to accumulate). Are those valid?

If not, I have others.

Neobux offers 4-5 ads per day with $0.01 rate. That rate is acceptable because there is no easy money out there. But I always encounter the message, your IP address already viewed this advertisement blah blah blah, and thus discouraged to click ads altogether.

Also, when I was starting, I got enticed with members testimonies and immediately hired recruits for $5. For the one month I only got $2.24 in return. Ok Ok, I missed to click on some days and my recruits are damned lazy too!

Wait I still have $2.++ in my account that I forgot to cash-out. It was available for months but I was thinking of getting recruits again. Oh well, just as I was planning to cash-out my account has been cancelled due to inactivity.

So, the $2.76 lost is charged to Mr. Experience. I’ll get it back somehow (with interest! ;) ).

But this is me, some did actually earn from it. So if you have time and patience, you might want to try it out.

Alertpay

This is an alternative payment method to Paypal but only used by very limited sites. I got one because it is required by one site I joined in. Unfortunately that site was not recommendable (I’ll share it later), so my perspective on sites using Alertpay ONLY is quite negative.

Sorry AP, can’t blame me for a bad experience.
