Why Entrecard?

A lot of bloggers already gave up on Entrecard, but I don’t. I still believe EC serves the purpose, that is to drive some traffic to your site.

When I started with EC they already removed the points you get when clicking the button of the blog you visit. You only get points when another blog advertise to you depending on your current rate. But what I noticed is that most (not all) returned your visits or clicks. So even if only 50% of your clicks are returned still it is gained traffic.

Why EC? Here’s why

I still use EC on some of my blogs and some are still pending approval. I just noticed it takes long time for a new blog to be approved, with the numbers of bloggers ditching EC they should speed up the approval process. Just some thoughts.

September 2011 SocialSpark Payment

I cashed out $70 from SocialSparkV2!

I started writing for SocialSparkV2 last month, but since you have to wait for 30 days to get paid and a minimum threshold of 5,000 points = $50 it took me at least 45 days. The $70 is for 5 posts with a minimum of 1485 points each. I already written 12 post since August so I am expecting another cash out by first week of October.

You will be sent payment notice once your post got paid, like this

I have 3 blogs registered at SocialSpark, 2 WP self-hosted and 1 blogspot. I usually get 2 to 3 opps per week.

An MBA degree to finish

I am planning to finish my Graduate Studies by next semester. I am actually a few units shy to my masters in business administration. I stopped due to work relocation and always have some excuses not to enroll. But I regret not pursuing it and really plan to finish it now. I envy my former classmates who already graduated and even doing further studies.

If being an engineer is my current profession, doing business is one my passions. I really want to establish an empire one day and if you’ve been stalking me since the beginning you should know that I started blogging accidentally to look for ways to do business online. I also put up this blog to chronicle my earnings online and as a part of my thesis on ecommerce particularly on earning through blogging. I really wish I could work all these plans as soon as possible.

I know I don’t need to have an MBA degree to be successful in blogging or online business but still it’s something I already started and plan to finish. Also if ever I retire in my current work, I might go to teaching.

Oh so much to do with so little time. But at least I am taking one step at a time to my grand dream.

Source of many great images but with a price. Lowest was a dollar a piece. I happen to have some freebies from godaddy (all my domains are registered there) vouchers for Fotolia and Google Adwords.

For Fotolia, a 10 credit voucher equivalent to 10 dollars while for Google Adwords a 100 dollar voucher.

It has been on my godaddy account for quite a while but since I don’t really pay attention much except when I need to renew my domains. It really came (or the correct terms is it really was noticed) when I needed some images for my headers and badges for my 5 new blogs.
